We don’t just organize sports!

Every member of Platinum Sport (the crew) considers sports an integral part of their life. To varying degrees, in different sports, and of course, with different goals. The important thing is that they all have goals that can only be achieved through sports. I’d like you to get to know them!

György eM. Soós

Owner

This is my father, as you can tell from our last name. In his youth, football was his passion, which I didn’t inherit from him, but at least my son has someone to learn tricks from!

At this stage of his life, cycling has taken the spotlight. He organizes huge cycling tours, like the route from Nagyatád to Budapest, which is nearly 250 km. He always finds companions for these rides, and neither heat nor cold can stand in their way! Besides that, he occasionally keeps his health in check by swimming as well!

In 2021, with a third member from the extended family, we completed the eXtremeMan in Nagyatád. He was supposed to cycle the full 180 km, but I was more at ease knowing he split the distance in half due to the extreme heat.

Sport is a part of life for every member of Platinum Sport (the team). For each person, it may vary in intensity, sport discipline, and, of course, different goals. The important thing is that they all have goals that sport helps them achieve. I would like you to get to know them!

Olivér Soós

Organizer

That’s great to hear! It sounds like you’ve had quite an active and diverse sports journey. Running, cycling, and swimming are a fantastic mix for maintaining fitness.

It’s inspiring how you turned a challenging situation into an opportunity to dive deeper into swimming! It’s amazing how quickly you made progress, and the Open Water Tournament sounds like a great experience. I’m sure others would benefit from hearing about it!

That’s awesome! Running an Ultra distance is a big goal, and having Molly as a running companion must make it even more enjoyable. Best of luck with your training!

The Kapuvár team

Zsolt Böcskör

Sports Director – Kapuvár

Zsolt is the coach of Kapuvári SE, so football is his main sport. Of course, this also requires a lot of running.

With him, we can achieve the high standard of our Kapuvár event. Through his coordination and leadership, the dedicated work of other local, enthusiastic helpers is also behind the scenes of the competition.

I must mention the enthusiastic work of the local government employees, especially highlighting the efforts of Mayor György Hámori and Deputy Mayor Imre Tóth! Their personal involvement in the preparations and on the day of the competition is truly commendable.

Henrietta Irmes

Irmes Henrietta ultrafutó

I am the head of the running division of Kapuvári Sportegyesület and a soldier in the MH Klempa Kálmán 7th Territorial Defense Battalion. I’ve been counting my running years since 2010. In 2017, I participated in my first 10.55 km race, and since then, I’ve become hooked on running. A year later, I ran my first marathon at the Spar Budapest Marathon, followed by several marathons and ultra-distance races. My longest race was the 2022 Deseda Ultra, where I won the women’s category with 140 km. Since 2022, I’ve been organizing the KapuvárRun running competition, which gets more popular every year and offers new features! I believe there is always room for improvement, and I encourage everyone to love sports! When I’m not running, I serve my country!
