We hereby inform you that by using the website accessible at platinumsport.hu, you, as a buyer (consumer), acknowledge and accept the following General Terms and Conditions, written in accordance with Sections 6:77–6:81 of Act V of 2013 of the Hungarian Civil Code. We kindly ask that if you wish to become a customer or an active user of the services offered by our Webshop, please carefully read our General Terms and Conditions. Use our services only if you agree with every clause and consider them binding upon yourself.

This document is concluded exclusively in electronic form. The contract governed by the terms and conditions below qualifies as a distance contract under the Hungarian Civil Code (Ptk.).

Ordering Information

The displayed products can be ordered online via the Webshop, by phone, or via email, with delivery by courier or personal pickup by the customer or their authorized representative.

The prices shown for the products include VAT but do not include delivery costs.

If the operator, despite exercising due diligence, displays an incorrect price next to a product, significantly deviating from its generally accepted price, the operator is not obliged to sell the product at the incorrect price. However, the operator must offer the customer the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price as part of the order confirmation. If the customer does not wish to take advantage of this option, they have the right to unilaterally withdraw from the contract.

In our Webshop, you can browse the available products and services by category. Each listed product includes a brief description, price, and other basic features (not exhaustive). For more detailed information about a product, click on its image or name. This will take you to the product’s dedicated page, where more comprehensive details are provided. If further clarification is needed, please contact the operator via the phone number listed in the operator information.

Order Processing

Orders are processed on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Orders can be placed outside these hours; however, if submitted after business hours, they will be processed on the next working day. The fulfillment deadline for accepted orders is 2–5 working days from the confirmation for in-stock items. If the product is out of stock, the delivery time depends on its source, ranging from 1 to 5 weeks.

Our company is not liable for any changes in the technical specifications of the ordered products caused by the supplier or other factors beyond our control, including changes made without prior notice.

Unclaimed orders will be considered canceled after 30 days.

Payment Methods for Ordered Products and Delivery Fees

Payment for Ordered Products

• Bank Transfer in Advance: Once we have confirmed your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing our bank account details and your order number. Please include the order number in the “notes/comments” section of the transfer. The product will only be dispatched via courier after the payment has been credited to our bank account. (Our bank account details can be found in the operator information section.)
• In-Person Payment: In this case, you can pay the product price in cash (in Hungarian forints) at the operator’s registered office or business location.
• Cash on Delivery Option: The product will be delivered by a courier service assigned by us to the address you provided. The invoice amount for the product(s) must be paid in cash to the courier upon delivery. For orders with cash on delivery, an additional fee will be added to the shipping cost to cover this service.
• When using cash on delivery, payment for the ordered product must be made in cash to the courier upon receiving the package.

The total amount to be paid, as indicated in the order summary and confirmation email, includes all applicable costs. The invoice and warranty certificate are included in the package. Please examine the package in the courier’s presence upon delivery. In case of any damage to or missing items from the product, request a written report and refuse to accept the package. We cannot process claims submitted later without a formal report.

PURCHASE PROCESS
Adding to Cart: Products are initially placed in the cart, which does not constitute a completed purchase. Order Notification: After the purchase request is submitted, the BUYER will receive a notification email to the email address they provided. Order Processing: The order processing begins only after the confirmation email has been sent.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without justification within 8 days of receiving the product, provided the following conditions are met. In this case, Platinum Bt. will refund the amount paid by the buyer promptly, but no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice and the return of the product in undamaged condition and proportional to its usage period. For orders canceled before shipping begins (prior to handing the package over to the courier partner), the full amount of the invoice will be refunded. If Platinum Bt. fails to initiate shipping within 8 days based on the buyer’s order and becomes aware of the buyer’s withdrawal declaration after this period, the company will fulfill the settlement with the buyer. However, it reserves the right to claim reimbursement for any unjustified shipping costs incurred due to the delay caused by the withdrawal.

**Platinum Bt.** is obligated to refund the full purchase price to the buyer only if the product is returned in its complete, undamaged state, with packaging suitable for safe transportation, and accompanied by an invoice or receipt. Any damage caused by the absence of an invoice or receipt, or inadequate packaging unsuitable for safe transportation, is the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer bears all shipping costs associated with the product’s delivery and return. At the buyer’s request, **Platinum Bt.** will assist in organizing the return shipment. Additionally, **Platinum Bt.** reserves the right to claim compensation for damages resulting from improper use of the product.

LIABILITY Platinum Bt. assumes that the BUYER is aware of the advantages and disadvantages of online shopping, including technical limitations and potential errors. It is further assumed that the BUYER makes purchases after considering these factors. Platinum Bt. does not accept liability for any errors or issues that may arise.

Data Processing

The operator treats the personal data provided during the use of the webshop as confidential and does not disclose it to any third parties, except when necessary for subcontractors (e.g., courier services) to fulfill the delivery of the order.

During browsing the webshop, technical information is recorded for statistical purposes (e.g., IP address, duration of visit, etc.). The operator will only share this data with authorities if legally justified and supported. Enabling cookies is required to use the service. If you do not wish to allow cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings. Some elements of the service may only be partially available or unavailable if cookies are disabled. A cookie is a file sent by the server to the user’s browser and stored on the user’s computer. No personal data is stored in the cookie. The data recorded during the order process is used by the operator to fulfill the order. The invoice data generated from the orders placed on the webshop pages is recorded and stored for the period specified by the applicable accounting law. The data provided during newsletter subscription or registration is handled confidentially by the operator, and you can unsubscribe by using the contact details provided. You can request the deletion or modification of your data at any time in writing.

During the order process, the provisions of Act CXII of 2011 are applicable, and the service provider’s data protection declaration is available on the website.
